Alone at Sea was featured on Feb. 13, 2011, in a Boston Globe page 1 Travel section story on good books recently published about New England History:  "In Praise of the Page, Fishing and Witches, Farming to Forests." See here.

John N. Morris Weighs In on Catch Shares
Morris was consulted by The Boston Herald as a fishing expert on the issue of catch shares in the Massachusetts fishery. Citing a past attempt to set up a quota system by Gloucester fishermen in the 1930s, he predicts a similar outcome for the current legislation. Read the full article here.
